Google Search Console
Authorize a verified Search Console property and sync organic-search performance.
Google Search Console supplies query, page, country, device, click, impression, click-through rate, and average-position data for organic-search analysis.
Required Google access
Authorize with a Google user that has access to the intended Search Console property. Marcenta requests read-only Search Console access. Available properties reflect what the signed-in user can access in the provider.
Both domain and URL-prefix properties can appear. Choose the property whose scope matches the site you intend to analyze.
The Google identity used during OAuth becomes the authorizing user. One selected Search Console property connection serves the active Marcenta workspace; individual representatives do not connect separately.
Verify access in Search Console
- Sign in to Search Console using the identity that will authorize Marcenta.
- Use the property selector to open the exact domain or URL-prefix property that should be connected.
- Open Settings → Users and permissions.
- Find the Google user's email and confirm it is an Owner, Full user, or Restricted user with access to performance reports. Marcenta only requests read access; ownership is not required.
- Confirm the property scope shown in the selector. A domain property covers the verified domain, while a URL-prefix property covers only its exact protocol and prefix.
Only a property owner can add users or change their permission level. From Settings → Users and permissions, an owner can select Add user, enter the integration user's Google Account email, select the least-privileged suitable permission level, and save. If nobody retains verified ownership, restore property verification before relying on delegated access.

Connect
- Open Connections → Google Search Console.
- Start Google authorization and grant read access.
- Select the available Search Console resource and verified property.
- Complete setup and allow the initial import to run.
Understand Search Console data
Search Console reports sampled or privacy-filtered search performance and can be delayed. Query totals do not always add exactly to overall totals, and very recent dates may be incomplete.
Domain properties cover the verified domain scope. URL-prefix properties cover only the exact protocol and prefix. Selecting the wrong property is a common reason pages or traffic appear absent.
Manage
Open the connection to sync recent data, import history, change the selected property, reconnect, or disconnect.
Changing the property changes future source data. Review saved reports and detectors that assume the earlier property scope before switching.

Search Console is a performance reporting source, not a complete record of every search or visit.
