Quickstart
Create or join a workspace, connect a source, sync data, and verify your first Marcenta workflow.
Use this checklist to move from a new account to a verified data workflow.
Before you begin
Prepare:
- access to the intended Marcenta workspace;
- a provider login with access to the account, property, portal, or advertising account you intend to connect;
- approval from the provider administrator where your company restricts third-party applications; and
- a clear choice of which production or test provider resource belongs to this workspace.
1. Create or join a workspace
Create an account at app.marcenta.ai/sign-up. Complete email verification when requested.
If your company already uses Marcenta, ask a workspace owner or administrator to invite you. Joining the existing workspace preserves shared connections, reports, tasks, and configuration and avoids creating an isolated duplicate.
After sign-in, Marcenta opens the workspace associated with the current workspace address. If your account has no workspace yet, the product prepares one during onboarding.
2. Review your account
Open Settings → Workspace to confirm your display name, account email, and workspace name. Your email is shown but cannot be edited from that page. Use the password section when you need to replace your password.
Administrators should next review Workspace users and calendars.
3. Connect one source
- Open Connections.
- Select a supported source.
- Complete OAuth authorization or provide the API key requested by the provider guide.
- Select the account, property, portal options, or advertising account when a second setup screen appears.
- Return to Connections and confirm the source is shown as Connected or Syncing.
Start with the source needed for your first use case. Connector limits count active connections, and some providers can create more than one connection when multiple resources are selected.
4. Verify data freshness
Open the connection management page and check:
- selected account, property, or portal;
- connection status;
- last successful sync;
- any visible configuration requirement; and
- any provider error shown by Marcenta.
Use Sync Now when you need a current incremental refresh. Use a historical import only when the required dates are not already present; historical imports can take longer than ordinary refreshes.
5. Verify one product workflow
Choose the path that matches your goal:
- Reporting: create a report, select the connected source, choose a date range, add a dimension and metric, then run and save it.
- Monitoring: open Incidents after the source has enough history for detection.
- Account analysis: connect LinkedIn Ads, add or import target accounts, then review matching and activity.
- Call analysis: connect Apollo, import calls, and wait for recording processing and analysis to complete.
- Lead routing: configure users and calendars, the website script, forms, routing groups, rules, meeting settings, and booking experience.
- Automation: on an eligible workspace, create a workflow or agent and review its run and artifact.
6. Know where to check next
| Symptom | First check |
|---|---|
| No report data | Connection resource, last sync, report date range, and selected fields |
| No incidents | Source history, detection sensitivity, and whether supported metrics have synced |
| New calls missing analysis | Recording source, processing status, and analysis status |
| Website form not routing | Script detection, configured form status, field mappings, and routing rules |
| No calendar availability | Routing outcome, active member, connected calendar, and meeting settings |
Initial data availability
Authorization is usually the first completed stage. Historical import and downstream processing continue in the background, with duration depending on provider behavior and data volume.
