Accounts

Import target accounts, match them to LinkedIn companies, and analyze account-level advertising activity.

Accounts combines a target-account list with LinkedIn company matches and LinkedIn Ads engagement. Use it to see whether priority companies are being reached and to inspect their progression through available advertising signals.

Prerequisite

Connect and sync LinkedIn Ads before expecting campaign activity or LinkedIn company matching. The selected LinkedIn ad account determines which advertising data is available.

Add accounts manually

Use Add account to enter a small list. You can add up to 20 accounts in one submission. Provide a recognizable account name and add a company domain when known; the domain can improve matching quality.

Import a CSV

For a larger list, select Import CSV. The file must include:

  • account_name — required; and
  • domain — optional.

After import, review the result summary. Rows can be inserted, updated, identified as duplicates, rejected as invalid, matched, left unmatched, or marked ambiguous. Correct invalid names or domains in the source file before retrying them.

Review company matching

Marcenta attempts to associate each target account with a LinkedIn company. Match states include matched, unmatched, ambiguous, failed, and pending.

For a row that needs review:

  1. Open the account.
  2. Search the available LinkedIn company records.
  3. Compare the company name and domain.
  4. Save the correct match.

Use retry where available after correcting an account or after new LinkedIn data has synced. Do not force a match based only on a similar name when the domain or company identity is unclear.

Analyze activity

Choose a date range and review the fields available for each account. These can include impressions, clicks, spend, click-through rate, cost per click, campaigns reached, conversions, and the last impression date.

Switch between KPI views and the target-to-conversion funnel to answer different questions. A company can be correctly matched while still showing no activity if it was not reached during the selected period.

Work with the table

Use search, date and activity filters, sorting, and pagination to narrow the list. View settings can change column visibility, order, and size without changing the stored account data.

Select Export CSV to download the currently filtered account dataset. Review the active filters before exporting.

Troubleshooting

SymptomWhat to check
All activity fields are emptyVerify LinkedIn Ads is connected, synced, and using the expected ad account
An account is unmatchedAdd or correct its domain, then retry or review the match manually
Several companies look plausibleUse the legal name, domain, and company identity; leave it ambiguous if uncertain
A matched account has no impressionsExpand the date range and confirm the company was reached by a campaign
CSV rows are rejectedConfirm the account_name header, non-empty values, file formatting, and duplicate rows

Account matching is an identity decision. Review ambiguous results before using them in customer or revenue analysis.
